  • Truly Outstanding

    By Petethepilot1
This album is nothings less than outstanding. Paul took us down the same road as Sgt. Peppers had 5 decades ago, also another McCartney album. Both albums had nothing to do with their names ( Sgt. Peppers or Egypt), except the first song and last song a song at the end like “ A Day in the Life” or the last song on Egypt Station. Paul is a genius, now all that is left is to figure which person in his life each song is about. Excellent Paul, keep up the good work.

Paul is still an outstanding wizard. The cryptic artwork is spot on to the times and the coded messages are trippy. 711 to the "23".
  • Another Solid Album

I've listened to the entire album 3 or 4 times and can't wait to hear it again. Paul's voice is better than ever. A classic.

“Confidante” seems to borrow from “Both Sides Now”.

Its been such a long time since I've gotten excited over a new release from sir paul. Last time was when "Hope and Deliverance" was released back in the early to mid 90's. That was his last good album to date. This album does have a good feel to it, but you all know how this world is. Nothing on this album will become a true hit basically because people don't normally make old timer's music into hits these days. If the song is not filled with voice enhancements, sexy images within the videos and not a young "diva or idol", then the songs just barely get recognized any more, regardless of how good the music is. I will end up getting 2 or 3 tracks from this release for my own personal listening pleasure, but willing to bet big, that you will not here any of these tracks on the radio.
