Ever since I have heard this song, I have been in love! I always show my friends this song, and they end up loving it too. This song shows how you need to hear both sides to he story to actually u understand We always judge... we never sit down and listen to both sides, we always wanna believe what we want. We want to believe what we hear from our parents, News,T.V, etc. We need to sit down and get the truth... Because this song IS the truth
  • Work of Art

Pathetic reviews. This song is an absolute work of art. It's supposed to represent BOTH pros and cons of both sides. You're supposed to listen to both sides, understand what they're coming from, and compare it to today's society. Not everything about this song is supposed to be taken literally, it's representing today's issues. Unless you have well enough reasons to say Joyner is "stupid" or "dumb", keep your mouth shut. Another FYI, use grammar properly. "Your dumb" already points out your intelligence right there.

This is what’s up! Let’s move forward together and never look back. If you one starred it than may you rot in hell or change your beliefs and move forward righteously.

CoA$$$ is an idiot. Don’t listen to that person review. This song is awesome. Two sides of every story. Love it. Genius.
  • A view from both sides

As a mixed race man I was raised by a white woman in the suburbs but I had black friends. I lived both sides and this song hits every racial assumption that people believe. Very powerful and insightful song that couldn’t be more real. 👍🏾👍🏻. And it’s a trip to bump in your car and see people’s heads turn pending on which part of the song you are on. #joynerlucasracialchallenge

this is a highly controversial song. it contains two sides, two arguments, of the same story. it is insightful for those that don’t understand where the other side is coming from. it is a valiant effort in the strive for racial equality.
