Back with a new sound!
In know alot of hardcore Beck fans will probably either hate or love this album because its so different from all his other albums. It took a few listens but this a very good album. It has a few tracks thast I had to skip but overall great fun sound. Best songs are Dreams, Up all Night, and Up all Night.
But it is a bit strange when all off a sudden Wow comes on with this serious trap beat goin on
One of his best
This is the album we needed at the end of 2017. Just the right combination of reflective and fun, with good grooves and hooks throughout.
Another great album
Yet another great album from Beck. I'm a long time fan and I'm thrilled he continues to pump out fantastic music.
Beck Does It Again
Awesome album from Beck. Original as always. The people giving this bad reviews are clearly not Beck fans. Loving every song.
Always defying expectations

This is a pretty and cool album. And I think his heavy 80s sound is very self-aware, but impossibly balanced in a way not many could pull off. I don’t think there will be another “colors” for a while after this though. Good job on the songs: “colors” “seventh heaven” “square one” and of course the big three singles “dreams” “wow” “up all night” and my favorite of all, the most funky “dear life”.
Wish there were more in the vein of “dear life”. That would’ve been an insane album.
Is It the 80s Again?

Seems like Beck is channeling some Hall and Oats, Duran Duran, and Electronica on this one. It has grown on me fast. Punchy, melodic, and electrified by keyboards and instruments, it is a fantastic ode to the radio days of yesterday. Is there anything this boy can’t do? Seriously.
Don't buy this album.
Beck is amazing. This album is not.
Everything that makes Beck’s music unique and interesting is absent on this album.
