My phones on fire
This is so good 😊 pls make more Maybe a second album.
It's really unfortunate that they sold out big time in order to get more airtime on the rado with this pop trash. Their first album was fantastic! Their second album was ok. This album is BAD! Maybe their fourth album will see them going back to the roots of the band. The days when it wasn't pop trash. When it wasn't over-produced, and over-electronic songs.
I loved their previous album but this one sounds like all the rest of the boy bands out there. They've lost what set them apart from the rest.
Lost their unique sound
Sadly, they sound like every other pop band out there. They’ve lost their soulful, retro sound that made them unique.

As a huge fan of Fitz and the Tantrums, this album is a complete disappointment. They have strayed very far from making real music and just made an album with catchy dance fluff. Now I do like some songs. I love Get Right Back and it's a great concert opener. I love Fool, especially Noelle's "Mama" in the chorus. I like HandClap a lot, especially live. Tricky and A Place For Us are decent. The rest of it ranges from bad to really bad. This doesn't sound like their first album, or even like their 2nd album, and I think they're devolving not evolving. The saddest thing is HandClap is their biggest hit ever, so they'll probably continue in this direction. I know I said I like HandClap a lot, but that song wouldn't even crack my top 10 FATT songs, and they only have 3 albums which isn't much to do a top 10 list from.
Better and Better
All tracks solid and strong. Starting and ending with the best. "Handclap" is addictive fun and speaks to the group's general style and use of percussive elements. Go ahead, listen to it and try not to clap your hands. "A Place for Us" is a beautiful end to the rest of the album and has wonderful, heartfelt harmonies. Not to say the rest of the album is bad by any stretch. The other tracks don't immediately grab you but you'll find yourself not hitting the skip track button once they've started.
